Josip Peperni Death – Cause Of Death: Norwich Police Department Lt. Josip Peperni Bradina (Konjic) has passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 57 due to complications from Covid-19 on Tuesday 16th November 2021, leaving friends, family, and the Norwich Police Department in great agony.
He was a graduate from the Middlesex Community College in 2009 where he earned an associate degree in criminal science. Josip was a 19-year veteran of the Norwich Police Department who joined the police department in the year 2002, he graduated in the 290th training class of the Connecticut Police Academy. According to an article by the Norwich Police Department, Peperni was a patrol division shift commander at the time of his death.
He underwent a series of courses on the law enforcement list some of which include K-9, crisis intervention, and school resource officers training. Peperni worked as a patrolman, marine/harbor patrol officer, K-9 patrol officer, on the crisis intervention team, as a DARE officer, a school resource officer, and an administrative sergeant. On July 20th, 2018 he was promoted from Sergeant to Lieutenant.
Friends and colleagues paid tributes to Josip on social some of which include: “We send our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and coworkers of Lt. Josip Peperni. The City of Norwich has lost a dedicated officer, his colleagues have lost a beloved mentor and friend and his family has lost a husband and father. We hope everyone finds peace in memories and fellowship as you grieve.”
