Oluwatoyin Salau was a 19 year old protester who plead for justice to take its place concerning the black lives lost, she was found dead on June 13 after missing for more than a week, her death was confirmed on Monday by her family.

Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through pains, mourning the unexpected passing of their beloved.

This departure was confirmed through social media posts made by Twitter users who pour out tributes, and condolences to the family of the deceased.

Oluwatoyin Salau went missing on June 6 after speaking out about her sexual assault that had taken place that day. A few days later her body has been found. She was 19. RIP Angel. White heart We will continue to fight for you. We demand #JusticeForToyin #SayHerName

A 19-year-old activist who went missing after tweeting that she was sexually assaulted has died, Tallahassee police confirmed.

#OluwatoyinSalau was a prominent voice in protests over police brutality. Her body was found with that of a 75-year-old woman.

A suspect is in custody.
