Officials with Hopkins police are investigating a shooting at a residential apartment building Mid hours of Sunday.
The shooting happened at Knollwood Towers West Apartments located in 1010 Lake Street Northeast at about 2:17 p.m. HPD officials responded and located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. The unidentified man was transported to the hospital in a unknown condition. Investigators say a vehicle was seen fleeing the area after the shooting. The vehicle was spotted and a police chase ensued. The driver was arrested.
Investigators believe the incident is an isolated one and investigations remains active.
