After the sensational victory in the FIFA World Cup, the French capital, Paris, decided to name a metro station after coach Didier Deschamps.

The famous poet Victor Hugo will share his name on one of the stations with the team's goalkeeper and captain, Hugo Lloris.

And with the return of the blue-shirted team to its country carrying the World Cup yesterday (Monday), the Paris transport authority decided to change the names of six subway stations in honor of those who contributed to making this victory.

The new name of the station (Notre Dame des Champs) will be (Notre Didier Deschamps) in honor of the coach of the team.

And Didier Deschamps is one of only three people in the history of the World Cup to receive the trophy as a coach after winning it as a player, as he helped his team achieve its first victory in the tournament in 1998.

The new name of the station (Victor Hugo) will be (Victor Hugo Lloris) in honor of the goalkeeper and captain of the winning team.

As for (Percy) station, it will become (Percy Lee Blue), similar to (Mercy Lee Blue), which means thank you for the blue.

And at the end of the famous Champs-Elysées, the station (Charles de Gaulle-Etoile) will change its name to (En a d'Etoile), which means (we have two stars), in reference to the country's twice World Cup victory.
