Patricia Joann Stisher Death – Cause of Death – On the 26th of February, 2021, a woman later identified as 41-year-old Patricia Joann Stisher of Birmingham was shot at a gas station. According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s report, Stisher sadly passed away nine months after she was shot at a gas station. The shooting incident happened around 3 p.m. at the Marathon Gas Station in the 3400 block of 26th Street North.
Investigations revealed that Stisher sustained gunshot wound injuries during a reported assault at the Marathon Gas Station in Birmingham. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service got to the scene at transported Stisher to UAB Hospital where she recently passed. 6WBRC news stated that Stisher died on the 25th of November 2021 at UAB Hospital. The death of Stisher is being investigated as a homicide.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner William Yates, “The decedent died nine months later due to complications from the gunshot wound injuries sustained in the assault.” Police are investigating the shooting.
