Patrick Ballew Cause of Death – Passed Away: 38-year-old Patrick Ballew of Grosse Pointe, Michigan died on Friday, November 12, 2021. According to reports, Patrick Ballew was shot and killed in the parking lot during an altercation with a man. The shooting occurred at 1645 S. Highway 29 at approximately 10:47 p.m. (Pilot Truck Stop).
Patrick Ballew ran into the store and collapsed on the floor, where he was pronounced dead from gunshot wounds. The shooter was last seen leaving the scene in the victim’s white van, pulling left out of the parking lot and heading north on Highway 29 towards the Interstate.

Morgan Goodman wrote on Facebook, “On Friday, November 12, 2021, my cousin Patrick Ballew was killed in Georgia while there for work. The suspect has not been located. I am asking for my friends to please share this, so we can find the man who did this. The suspect in question is to be believed from Michigan. Please support my family in our search during this difficult time.”
