My good friend Paul Crane passed away last night at age 76. What can I say, he did it all and was so down to earth. Won a state title at Vigor, 2 National titles at Alabama and a Super Bowl Championship with the Jets. My last interview with Paul was him talking about a LeRoy Neiman sketch the great artist did on him during a Jets practice. Paul pulled out a Playboy magazine to show me his picture in it when he was a Playboy All American . I will miss him and his wonderful stories, as will many others! Condolences to Heiike who called me today to share the news of her husband’s death. God Bless, he will be laid to rest next to Paul Junior.
