My heart is breaking at this news. Paul was the definition of mensch. Yes, a great Judge & LGBTQI pathbreaker. And also an extraordinarily loving son, brother, husband & friend. A good, kind & funny person. May the memory of Paul Feinman be for a blessing & a goad to justice.

I’m saddened to hear of the passing of Justice Paul Feinman. The first LGBTQ Court of Appeals Judge in New York, Justice Feinman was a trailblazer, and his legacy and inspiration to New Yorkers will live on. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
Today, New York and its judiciary lost one of its best in the loss of Justice Paul Feinman. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and Robert Ostergaard. Justice Feinman seemed to always get it right as far as his decisions were smart, pro-democracy and pro-business.
