Ken Ruttan Death – Cause Of Death: Peterborough and District Sports Hall of Fame chairman and Ontario Provincial Police retired senior Constable Ken Ruttan has died unexpectedly and unpredictably following a two-year brave battle with interstitial lung disease on Sunday 14th November 2021 at the age of 80 at Hospice Peterborough, surrounded by his family.

On November 14 in the year 1963, Ken began his journey with the Ontario Provincial Police and was assigned to work at Bowmanville (Newcastle) Detachment. He was given a responsibility to Downsview on June 22 in the1972. Ken was lastly taken to the Intelligence Branch where he served until August 31, 1994, when he retired after 30 years of service.

Ruttan served as the chairman of the PDSHOF Hall of Fame for 4 years between 2015 to 2019. He lived an accomplished life full of happiness and love. He was a role model and a great inspiration to so many people, he a pillar of the Peterborough Sports Hall of Fame, and a consummate sportsman. His legacy and impact will forever be remembered.
