Really sad to hear Phil K has left us. Amazing DJ and producer and an intergral part of the scene in Australian for decades. Not to mention his work with Pioneer. A lovely lovely man. Thoughts with his family and all the Aussie crew who I know will be gutted

Very sad to hear that legendary DJ and producer Phil K from Melbourne has lost his fight with cancer. Regularly when we visited Oz, we got the chance to spend a bit of time with a beautifully humble and extraordinarily talented human being. #sleepwelloldfriend

Well this is absolutely shit. DJ Phil K has passed on but not before passing on endless musical/technical knowledge.
I wrote about his legacy in March 2019.

Today we share the loss of a great friend & DJ, Phil K. Over the last 20 years we had worked closely with Phil on mix CDs, remixes & our DJ meetings. He was a great guy. The best cheeky fun maker to be around. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Farewell Phil Xxx

I’m so sad to learn that Melbourne’s #PhilK has passed. He was one of Australia’s first international DJ/producers + a technical innovator. He epitomised progressive house but picked up on nu-skool breaks, a big sound. Friendly guy, too, always. Much loved in the local scene
