An overnight shooting in a home on the East side Frankford in Philadelphia has left a 34-year-old woman in the hospital, according to Philadelphia police.

The incident happened in the 2000 block of Plum Street at about 3:30 a.m. Friday. Officials located the woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest and arm inside the upper room of the residence.

According to Chief Inspector Scott Small, the woman was with a male friend at the time the shooting took place but was gone before police arrived. She was transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

No one is in custody.
