Pls think about this.What reasons did the Jewish
religious authorities led by Caiphas give for ploting
against Jesus,and actually handed him over to the
then Roman expansionist invaders to be killed?
Caiphas and his men were political and religious
hypocrites who deceived and oppressed the people with ungodly laws and way of life.The then Roman
invaders were polytheists who embarked on
expansion of thier empire.But Jesus ministry and
ministrations,characteristically Godist and
truth,exposed the falsehood of these authorities and
threatened thier positions.So they fought back to kill the TRUTH and hold the people in ignorance and
slavery.
Jesus mission on incarnation here,as he confirmed
while teaching in the temple,was to save man from
his ignorance and sins through educating him on the
truth of the laws of life. He read from the book of Isaiah 61.
Why does the christian world today believe and
preach that God sent down Jesus to be killed for his
blood to wash away thier sins?Does that mean that
those heartless murderers carried out divine
assignments and should be hailed?Was it not God that gave Moses the law against murder?Was God happy
with Cain for killing innocent Abel?Was it not God that
prevented Abraham from carrying out human
sacrifice with one of his sons according to thier
ancient practice? Did Jesus not curse woe upon he that
would betray the son of man to death when he was eating with his men?How could the sin of spilling
innocent blood wash away man’s sins and reconcile
him with God?
We are TRUTH SEEKERS and these discussions came up
in our study meeting last night.We humbly ask for help
from anyone or group that can explain this to us pls.Meanwhile,we do not agree intoto that “by his
stripes we are healed ” as is generally expreesed by
our teachers
