After CD Projekt Red announced that Cyberpunk 2077 would no longer release on April 16th, 2020, the company revealed that this year’s September is the upcoming RPG’s new due date. Seeing that September is many months away, CDPR is using that time to further polish Cyberpunk 2077 with the help of Qloc.

After proclaiming that the team needs more diversity hires, CDPR is looking to ship the forthcoming first-person RPG across PC, PS4, and Xbox One late this year.

And speaking of consoles, there’s no denying that Cyberpunk 2077 will end up on other familiar consoles such as the PS4 Slim, the PS4 Pro, the Xbox One S, the Xbox SAD edition, and the Xbox One X.

In addition to the above, this also includes next-gen platforms, too, like the PS5 and Xbox Series X — that is after the pair launches during the fourth quarter of 2020.

Nevertheless, to help ship the game across all those platforms and the many diversity hires filling seats at CDPR, the Polish company has called in Qloc to assist with development and testing:

Now, I’m sure you know of Qloc, right? If not, the team’s work spans across PC ports and the like as found in Injustice 2, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Resident Evil 6, Dead Rising HD Remaster, Dark Souls: Remastered, the game that identifies as Mortal Kombat 11, Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and RiME — to name a few.

Lastly, CDPR and Qloc have around seven months to make sure that the game runs and functions correctly. Until then, you can expect the sci-fi RPG to become available across PC and home consoles on September 17th, 2020.
