The Republicans managed to maintain control of the US House of Representatives in the legislative elections that took place yesterday (Tuesday) in parallel with the presidential elections, according to US media.
This Republican victory means that even if the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, wins the presidential election, she will have to live with an anti-representative House.
The Senate, which is also currently controlled by Republicans, will be partially renewed in Tuesday's elections.
