Asus, Republic of Gamers, ROG, announced today the start of selling its latest gaming hardware, which was announced earlier this year at the virtual launch event of For those who dare at CES 2023.
The new ROG Strix SCAR 18 was designed with esports enthusiasts in mind. It's a gaming powerhouse, bringing the power and convenience of a desktop PC to a laptop powered by top-tier components that help gamers steal the spotlight with impressively high performance, and it's the first ROG laptop to feature an 18-inch Nebula display, with specs up to QHD 240 hz.
ASUS has pioneered a new design in this year's Strix Scar; Where the black cover is now more elegant and distinctive, as well as for the keyboard part. ASUS has designed new customizable covers to add a splash of color to your chassis; It is smaller in size and attaches firmly to the chassis. The cover can also be 3D printed if you'd like to add another distinctive touch to showcase your style.
As always, Scar comes with cool Aura Sync touches to highlight your creativity. The light shines brightly with the new metallic ROG logo and keyboard with per-key customization. More LEDs emit an even glow around the base of the chassis and across the strategic cutout below the screen. The back and sides of the laptop are covered with a transparent material, which gives it a more virtual reality look.
