This is just shocking and very, very sad. RIP Ron Graham, one of the giants. We just exchanged emails two weeks ago (he’s an Associate Editor at Exper Math journal); it’s hard to believe.

Sad to hear that Ron Graham has passed away. He made great contributions to discrete math. If you’re mathy, I highly recommend his very fun and self-learning-friendly book Concrete Mathematics (co-authored with Donald Knuth and Oren Patashnik).

This is incredibly sad. Ron Graham’s Concrete Mathematics shaped a big part of my undergrad thinking. Later Fan Chung, incidentally his wife, influenced me in grad school with her spectral graph theory book. My deepest condolences to Fan.
