Two killed in Shelby County single-vehicle accident
At least two persons have lost their lives in a fatal accident that happened on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. The police identified the victims that lost their lives in Shelby County car accident as 27-year-old Ross Allen Mize III and 43-year-old Leann Wood Hampton.
According to preliminary investigation, a pick-up occupied by the victims was traveling down around 12:23 p.m. on the road when the driver lost control of his vehicle, veer off the scene, and crashed into a tree. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to overturn and rest on its side.
It was gathered that Leann was thrown out of the vehicle due to the force of the crash and Ross was trapped inside. Both of them died of their injuries at the scene.
The officials are still investigating the accident.
