Sarah Peurakoski Cause of Death – Passed Away: SANDS TOWNSHIP, MI – 41-year-old Sarah Peurakoski of Sands Township, Michigan tragically passed away on Monday morning, November 15, 2021. Sarah was the epicentre of her family, always hosting get-togethers, holidays, or just a spontaneous dinner at her house; she had a special talent for keeping family and friends close and connected.
Sarah Colleen Peurakoski, a lifelong Marquette resident, died at UPHS-Marquette as a result of hemorrhagic stroke complications. Sarah was born on February 5, 1980, in Marquette, Michigan, to Richard and Colleen Peura. She went to Marquette Public Schools. Sarah enjoys basketball, volleyball, and track and field games. Sarah holds a B.Sc in Sports Management and Communication from the University of Michigan.
She also received her Master of Science in Recreational Therapy from Central Michigan University. Sarah was fiercely protective of individuals she cared about and the causes she believed in.
