The Governor of the Eastern Region, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, received today (Monday) the Director General of the General Corporation for the King Fahd Causeway, Eng.
During the meeting, the Emir of Al Sharqiya reviewed the development work report and future plans at the King Fahd Causeway. He also reviewed a visual presentation that included statistics for the movement of vehicles and passengers, the large increase in transportation and mobility witnessed by the bridge annually, and the projects that it has implemented and is being implemented by the Corporation, which are currently being worked on, and the services that are being implemented. It is provided by the institution to avoid overcrowding, in cooperation and coordination with the various government departments between the Saudi and Bahraini sides.
And the Emir of the Eastern Province directed the speedy completion of the projects being implemented in the King Fahd Causeway to contribute to improving and accelerating movement during the coming years through future expansions.
For his part, Al-Daoud thanked the Emir of the Eastern Region for his directives and follow-up of the bridge movement and the projects that are being built on it in light of the support of the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his faithful Crown Prince for projects in our dear country.
