According to Golden Era LBNY Health and Nutrition on Facebook post on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, Scott was fighting for his life on life support, according to the post, the exact cause of the situation is uncertain, and they asked that people should support the family.
Scott who was a long-time resident of Long Beach is always at the Gym exercising, he was a kindhearted and young gentleman who was deeply loved and cherished by his beloved friends and family. In one of his pictures at the gym, he was wearing a shirt of Golden Era LBNY Health and Nutrition. Golden Era LBNY is a local Health and Nutrition store. that provide the highest quality supplements, a variety of smoothies, meals, snacks, and beverages, including specialty coffee, energy drinks, and more!. The store is popularly known in Long Beach.
According to a post by Miguel Rodriguez on Facebook, he wrote, “Everyone please keep Scott and his family in your prayers as they go through such horrible pain. No parent should ever have to watch their child suffer. We love you champ. His friend Vinny Garone started a go fund me to help his family financially during these hard times. Every cent counts.” A GoFundMe account was organized on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, by Vincent Garone a friend of Scott Gernhardt in other to raise funds to help the family meet up to their expenses. the account was set to raise $40,000, on Thursday, November 18, 2021, the fund raised was more than $41,000. On the GoFundMe account, Scott was described as a lovely friend, brother, boyfriend, and son.
