Sean Clancy Death – Dead, Obituary, Funeral, Cause Of Death, Passed Away: It’s been about 24 hours since I first heard about the tragic passing of a former student. Sean Clancy played trumpet in my band, sang in the vocal groups,, and was a star member of our color guard. He went on to be a music teacher, choir director, and a color guard performer, instructor, and adjudicator…and colleague. I’m deeply saddened and disappointed that Sean will no longer be with us. He had so much to offer to so many. He was a good man. My heart goes out to all the people from his various walks of life that will miss him too.

So shocked and upset to hear of the passing of my close friend and college roomate, Sean Clancy. Sean used to come up to stay with me in the city, and we’d just spend the week seeing shows and living beyond our means. Those were some of my favorite memories, and i’ll forever cherish them. In the years we lived together, he was one of the few people people in my life who made sure I knew I was loved everyday, and I cannot thank him enough for that, and hope he knew I felt the same. I was supposed to see him a bunch over the summer, but covid made me chicken out. Really regretting it today. Much love to my South Jersey Theatre community. If you knew Sean, you know what a great person we lost today.
The sad news of Sean Clancy has been devastating and it really hurts. Thinking about him and looking back, I am so glad for the many hours that we spent together at international in Orlando Fl. When he realized our age difference he said to me that I was like a pop to him in barbershop. He said you could almost could be my grandpa, but we jelled so well that week. We did meals together and always seem to sit near each other. We actually when opportunity gave a chance we sang side by side. We actually got into the same group and ended up sitting on our benches side by side during contest. During contest he and I had to drop down and we ended up propped against each other. He will always be that someone that was special to me in my barbershop memories. May his memories live on for all of us to some degree. Miss ya my brother in harmony.
