Sean Hughes Death – Passed Away: LOWER MERION, PA., – 51-year-old Sean Hughes, of Harleysville, Pennsylvania died after a fatal traffic accident in South Jersey on Saturday morning while taken his son to a soccer game.

Sean Hughes, who was the principal of Lower Merion High School for over 14 years was driving northbound on Fleming Pike when he collided with a vehicle traveling eastbound on Hay Road. Hughes was taken to the hospital, where he died from injuries sustained in the crash.

His son, Nolan Hughes, 13, and the other driver, Azuka Ossai of Pine Hill, where transported to an area hospital, where they receive treatment. Hughes was the president of the Central Athletic League. The crash remains under investigation. We will give updates on the situation as we learn more.

Sean Hughes’ obituary and funeral arrangements have not yet been released by the family.
