La Costa Canyon High School closes activities due to shooting threats
The management Board of La Costa Canyon High School has released a notice formally informing parents and students of the postponement of academic activities on Dec. 3rd, 2021 following a threat to shoot up the school.
Dear La Costa Canyon High School community, to ensure the safety of the LCC Community and to allow the LCC Administrative teams in collaboration with the Carlsbad Police Department to further investigate the threat against the school community all classes will be asynchronous tomorrow.
students should plan to stay home and log into their Google classrooms for the Google =Meet link at the regularly scheduled class times. We apologize for any late notice and the inconvenience, but the safety of our students and staff comes first.
The department said in a notice to the school community.
Carlsbad Police Department is investigating the threat.
