Miroslav Žbirka Death – Cause of Death – We are deeply devastated about the news of the passing of Miroslav Žbirka who passed away on the 10th of November 2021. Miro was a Slovak pop music singer and songwriter who performed in Slovak, Czech, and English. He died in Prague of pneumonia.

Žbirka was born in Bratislava on the 21st of October 1952. He lived and worked in Prague. Reports says that Žbirka co-founded two Czechoslovak pop music bands Modus and Limit in the late 1970s.

Žbirka won the annual Zlatý slavík award for the best male singer in Czechoslovakia in 1982. He also repeated this achievement in the Slovak annual Slávik Awards after the dividing of Czechoslovakia, becoming number one in the annual end of year charts in 2002, 2004 and 2005.
