Today (Tuesday), the main Saudi stock index rose 141.62 points to close at 10,359.74 points, with transactions worth 4.9 billion riyals.
The amount of shares traded – according to the daily economic bulletin of the Saudi Press Agency for the Saudi stock market – amounted to 156 million shares, in which the shares of 176 companies recorded an increase in their value, while the shares of 38 companies closed in decline.
The shares of Arabian Sea, Themar, Toby, Sadarat, and Advanced companies were the highest gainers, while the shares of Yamama Cement, Alam, Almarai, Al-Rajhi Solidarity, and Al-Jouf Cement companies were the lowest in transactions, as the rates of rise and fall ranged between 9.95% and 3.19%.
While the shares of Sanctuary insurance companies, Dar Al-Arkan, Saudi Aramco, Al-Ahly, and Shams companies were the most active in quantity, as were the shares of Al-Rajhi companies, Al-Ahly, Saudi Aramco, STC, and Al-Enma were the most active in value.
The Saudi parallel stock index, "Nomu", closed today, down 39.41 points, to close at 18,928.89 points, with transactions worth 28 million riyals, and the volume of shares traded amounted to more than 303 thousand shares.
