My heart as her mother cannot take much more of watching my daughter suffer in pain …My Susie was transported via ambulance from The City of Hope to our home in San Pedro , l rode with her and held her hand the whole way home …I’m so sad to say , She is now on hospice until our Lord takes her home ..Please pray for her 😭 Our family is completely devastated 😞 STILL praying for a MIRACLE
Hi family and friends. Today is the worst day of my life. My heart is breaking more and more by the second. I am devastated to have to announce that my precious daughter Susie went to be with her Heavenly Father this morning. First off, I want to thank everyone who has followed Susie’s journey. Your love and support from all over the world has meant more to our family than I can put into words.
Susie fought this terrible disease so hard, but she did not lose this battle. Susie was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia when she was 5 months pregnant with twins on September 17, 2018. Susie immediately began chemotherapy and soon after we found out that there were no bone marrow donor matches for Susie out of the millions of people signed up on the BeTheMatch.org database. Our mission to find a match for Susie began. Susie’s story quickly made headlines and national news. BeTheMatch.org reported that over 100,000 people signed up to be a donor as a direct result of Susie’s campaign. Ultimately, we did find a match, but it did not take. Susie gave birth to her healthy twin babies, a boy and a girl, on December 6, 2018. Ever since then, Susie continued to fight for her 5 children: Jade 15, Edgar 14, Rylee 6, Ryan and Rainey 18 months. My daughter loved her babies more than anything. She fought until she had nothing left to give. Susie’s story touched so many people and thousands of lives will be saved because of her. My daughter did not lose her battle. She won! She is a warrior!
I have created a GoFundMe fundraiser because the one thing Susie wanted is for her 5 children to be taken care of. This would help our family tremendously as we try to navigate our new normal without my beautiful daughter and will help us give Susie the funeral she deserves. I’m crushed. Susie Rabaca invited us into her home on Thanksgiving 2018 to share her story. She was SO nice. She had given birth to twins while battling leukemia. She got a marrow transplant, but the cancer came back. I just learned she died today. RIP

Although my day was filled with joy it was turned to sadness…My dear Susie Q Susie Rabaca It saddens me to find out that you got your wings today but I am relieved to know that you’re not suffering anymore. It would be selfish of me to say I wish you were still here being that this is the place where you suffered. You were a fighter and a strong woman. I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART! The world is a little darker without you here to brighten it with your bright smile, big laugh and even bigger personality. You will truly be missed my Sue
We are still working on getting more details about the death, as family statement on the death is yet to be released.
