Larry Hadden passed – Death – Larry Hadden, 74, of Stillmore, Georgia, USA, was reported to have been killed on Thursday night, November 18, 2021, according to authorities. 24-year-old Dakota Shaman of Stillmore, Georgia was arrested by the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office, as the person who murdered Larry. According to Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office post on Facebook on Friday, November 19, 2021, it stated that at the Stillmore PD and Emanuel Co Sheriff’s Office responded to an altercation between two men at approximately 9:00 last night. Upon the arrival of law enforcement officers, one individual was found dead and the other had fled. After a diligent search of the area, Swainsboro PD officers & K9, and GA State Patrol Aviation were requested and joined the search. At approximately 1:30 am, a tip was called into Emanuel Co 911. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect was apprehended on Lexsy Stillmore Rd & U.S. Hwy 1 N Georgia.
Larry Hadden is a long time resident of Stillmore, he has a son called Nell Hooks, who Studied at Swainsboro Technical College and is staying at Nunez, Georgia, Nell was devastated by what happened to his father after the suspect was apprehended, Nell took to his Facebook page to thank the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office and the person who alerted the authorities about the suspect whereabouts. Larry was well known in Stillmore, he was a beloved father, a friend, and a well-respected member of the community, it is really sad that he lost his life in such a tragic way, but he will be remembered and greatly missed. He is survived by his family and friends, and the entire stillmore community.
Earlier before the arrest of the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office posted on their Facebook official page that “Dakota Sutton is a person of interest to the Sheriff’s Office. He is on foot, in the Stillmore area, last seen wearing a black cowboy hat and black trench coat. If you see him, he’s not thought to be armed, but please do not approach, call 911.” Melba Sakowski Dakota’s mother replied to the post explaining that her son had severe mental issues for a while and she tried all she could to get him help but to no avail, she plead with the authorities not to shoot her son and that he needs long-term mental health.
