A partial collapse of the roof of a tunnel under construction injured more than 10 workers in Tabuk.

The media spokesman for the Civil Defense in Tabuk, Major Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, explained that a report was received this morning (Sunday) about a partial collapse of the roof of a tunnel in the Al-Mahrajan neighborhood in the center of Tabuk, and immediately the necessary teams and the intervention team in accidents of collapses and earthquakes were moved from the Civil Defense Emergency Force.

He added, "Upon arrival, it was found that the accident consisted of the fall of part of the roof of a tunnel that was under construction, during the pouring process, which led to its fall and the injury of a number of workers who were present on the collapsed part."

Al-Shammari indicated that the accident took place, and 10 cases were removed by the civil defense teams, and their health condition was of moderate risk, and they were transferred by the Red Crescent to the hospital, pointing out that a number of cases were transferred before the arrival of the civil defense teams to the site.

And a civil spokesman in Tabuk stated that the necessary measures had been taken, and the site was completely surveyed, making sure that there were no people under the rubble
