Everybody at the Foundation was saddened to hear about the passing of Taryn Power, who played Dione in ‘Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger’ (1977).The daughter of Hollywood legend Tyrone Power, her performance in Ray’s 1977 classic was one of her most notable acting roles, and will long be remembered. She also starred in ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ (1975) alongside Donald Pleasance and Tony Curtis. Power largely retired from acting in later years to concentrate on family life.
