The poet Saud Sharbatly recalls the position of the artist Talal Maddah, when he parked his car in one of the European capitals, and got off it angrily next to the Islamic Center in winter time and the weather was very cold, after he hit his hand with all force on the “car drum”, after he saw an Algerian person wrapping his hands in the cold. And in a lamentable state, he went down to him and talked to him and brought him to the car and put him in, and he took him to a fancy restaurant, and he said to me, Do you know who this is? I said no! Then he replied to me, saying: This, O Abu Sultan, is one of those whom “the ignorant person thinks are rich in chastity.” And he told me a text: “Its details will be found in Surat Al-Baqara,” and he mentioned the verse and its number in detail!
He gave him money, and reserved an apartment for him to live in, amidst the man's astonishment and gratitude, and Talal was affected, following his condition daily, and this is a story that he did not forget in his life and I will never forget!
