Dr. Osama Abdul Majeed Shobokshi, the former Minister of Health and former Ambassador of the Kingdom to Germany, has passed away to the mercy of God Almighty, today (Friday), and he will be prayed after the Asr prayer in the Juffali Mosque in Jeddah, and then he will be buried in the tomb of our mother Eve.
Dr. Osama Shobokshi was born in Jeddah in 1943. The deceased holds a doctorate in internal diseases from the University of Erlangen in Germany, and an honorary fellowship from the Irish Royal College of Surgeons.
The deceased worked as a member of the Board of Directors of the King Fahd Center for Medical Sciences, and also worked in several positions at King Abdulaziz University, the last of which was the director of the university, and he was appointed Minister of Health from 1995 to 2003, after which he was appointed as an advisor at the Royal Court, and the last job he received was the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Germany. .
