Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, competing in the Formula 1 world championship, asked the fans to respect his privacy after a number of fans flocked to the vicinity of his home in Monaco.
Locklear, 25, who was robbed a year ago in Italy after two people wearing motorcycle helmets approached him to take pictures, posted his request via Instagram yesterday (Sunday).
"Over the past few months my home address has somehow become public, which has led to people gathering under my flat and ringing the bell trying to take pictures and get my autograph," he said.
He added, "I am always happy to fulfill your requests and really appreciate your support, but please respect my privacy and refrain from coming to my house."
He continued, "I will make sure to stop for everyone when I meet you in the street or in the ring, but I will not come down to you if you go to my house," indicating that there is "a limit that should not be crossed."
Last week, the Italian police announced the arrest of 4 wanted persons in connection with the theft of a valuable Richard Mille watch from Leclerc's wrist in the Italian coastal resort of Viareggio in April of last year, according to Reuters.
