The greatest achievement of life is to become a hero.
Heroes are not made only through bloodshed in battlefield. The truest heroes are the heroes who have fought the greatest battles, the battles not fought with sword and guns but battles fought by morality and moral decadence or the triumph of the higher senses over the lower base instincts.
Heroes whose life is an epitome of integrity, those whose integrity shines into the life of society.
Life has its benefits, its triumph, its celebration, its benevolence and its wealth to bestow on us as a heritage if only we will be worthy of such wealth. These wealth is not inherited like from parental heritage per say, it is a wealth we must seek and work to earn, to earn in the school of life.
To be celebrated by the wise is not an easy task neither is it an easy road, experience has shown that it is a road less travelled. It is a road less travelled because only a few are bold enough to dare to be real,to look within, to travel the road of life which in real life is very narrow unlike the road to destruction that is very wide.
The future becomes brighter whenever a mind ennobles itself through integrity and becomes the hero of the self.
Today society stands on the brink of anihiliation, anihiliation not by external and unknown forces but by the sky rocketing pace of moral decadence.
We now live in a society where words like integrity, morality, taboo seem strange to some people, infact some people live a carefree life that when such words are mentioned, they look upon the person that mentioned it as achaic or old fashioned sleeping person who needs to wake up from his slumber.
Nigeria today stands on a crucial epoch,an epoch when great heroes shall arise or ignorant men shall lead us all into oblivion.
In all of this, many stand akimbo, some seem less disturbed by the fact that our so called leaders of tumoro have nothing to offer by way of integrity or intellectual enhancement. Daily, the standard of morality keeps nosediving, the mad rush for vanity keeps sky rocketing, prayers by faithful keeps resounding yet no improvement in living standard or in the of the morality.
I do not know the way out of this leadership mess but i believe that the key solution to our challenges is in the heart of every Nigerian, especially those who looks inward and seek to rectify the mind of the person he sees in the mirror. If this is achieved by a sizable population,in a short while some angels will relocate here.
The heroes of the future are not those who will occupy high polictical chairs, our true heroes will come from those whose perpetual self development yields fruits of exemplary life,a life that will transform the minds surrounding such a leader, this will usher in true sucex For us all.
Let us kickstart the development of Nigeria so can inject our uniqueness into a growing globe.
I believe in us
I think we can make it
I believe we can if we try.
Cheers
