Today (Sunday), the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Muhammad Salih bin Taher Benten, made an inspection visit to the automated packing center of the Unified Zamazama Office in Makkah Al-Mukarramah as part of his field tours to the institutions of religious sects, and inaugurated the new building and production line for packages of various capacities and sizes, with a production capacity of 10 800 packages per hour.

Benten was briefed on the readiness to fill Zamzam water within the framework of the office's preparations for the Hajj season this year 1439 AH, according to an integrated system of manpower, and modern means of distribution and transportation with the aim of dedication to watering the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God with Zamzam water.

After that, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zamzami Office, Abdul Hadi Zamzmi, his deputies, and members of the Board of Directors, during which a visual presentation was presented, which included a review of the developments of the office’s operational plan that he had prepared to serve all pilgrims to the Sacred House coming from abroad, and highlighted the achievements of the Office’s Board of Directors during the past four years.

Benten praised the office's efforts for providing Zamzam packages for pilgrims.

During the inspection visit, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah was accompanied by a number of officials and leaders of the ministry.
