The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates organized the "Haq Al Laila" celebration in the Oud Square area in Riyadh.
The adults in attendance enjoyed the memories of the beautiful past, and the children learned about the importance of this night through the explanation given by the organizing team for the event. The children competed to collect sweets and nuts and enjoyed singing traditional songs and chants that are part of the ancient Emirati heritage.
The event contributed to highlighting the popular heritage that characterizes the United Arab Emirates, and introduced the audience to the ancient cultural repository and the most important customs that the Emirati society is keen to preserve through generations, which embody the link between the past of the UAE and its present.
