The mobile clans of the Deanship of Student Affairs at King Abdulaziz University achieved the first positions in the Hajj public service camps competitions to serve the pilgrims in the holy capital in the season of benevolence, giving, volunteering and sacrifice, under the slogan Distinguished Scouts with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, with the participation of 32 students.
The mobile clans won the first places in the Hajj and enrichment programs, the Holy Qur’an competition with its various branches, the camp knight competition, the cultural Olympiad, the distinguished specialist, the first place in the recitation competition, and the poetry competition. And the best clan leader at the camp level.
The Scouts participated this year with two scout teams with a total of 32 mobile phones in Mina, and their participation focused on carrying out the following tasks: conducting a field survey of the sites of Hajj campaigns in the holy sites, drawing a map showing the actual sites of Hajj campaigns, guiding lost pilgrims and delivering them to their camps.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Masoud bin Muhammad Al-Qahtani, congratulated the students who won the first places in the public service camps competitions in Hajj, and who reflected the bright image of the university students through their constant keenness to excel in serving the guests of Rahman, whether in the season of Hajj or Umrah, which is an extension of the continuous efforts over the years. past.
And the Dean of Student Affairs stated that the university was keen, under the guidance of the University Rector, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Obaid Al-Youbi, and the follow-up of the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdel Moneim bin Abdel Salam Al-Hayani, to support the mobile clans and prepare them to participate by holding several training courses, and providing them with the appropriate environment in order to build the personality of the student and inculcate Religious and patriotic values, love of voluntary work and community service.
