Though life is a bed of Rose with thorns,yet she owes us no bed of roses.
What do i mean.
For us to get the point,we need to first understand what is a bed of roses.
A bed of roses is a perpetual state of bliss or what religiously we call JOY. Having joy does not imply life is the way one expected or planned it rather it implies having a grateful heart in what life has blessed one with. Thats why we say,we should give thanks in all things. But if you look at this from another perspective,you will find that we need to be grateful cos the life we live is a prayer answered for another person. Every thing you may take for granted is someone else prayer waiting to be amswered.
Back to our discuss,life is a bed of rose cos when you have a grateful attitude irrespective of what happens in the external world,you will be peaceful,grateful and happy for where you are or what you have achieved. In life,the wise know that the most important thing about life is our reaction to the events and challenges of life this means that what happens to us is not as important as how we react to it. When we have good attitude,we react positively, this, then empowers us to apply creativity to whatever situation we may find ourself and make it a better sucess but if we have a bad attitude,we will even worsen ugly and undesirable situation into a failure situation.
The key here is our attitude to life,with the right attitude,we make a heaven out of what life throws at us but with a bed attitude,we can even turn a heaven into hell for ourselves.
Life becomes a bed of Roses when we have the right attitude, for though the thorns(challenges) of life are there yet we create beauty out of life. Just as a gardener creates a beautiful garden with Rose flowers irrespective of their torns, so also also we have the responsibility to apply creativity to life and make it a bed of roses.
Life owes us no bed of Roses,this means life will not just grant us what we want,life only gives us what we deserve,we deserve by our “work” wether in a career,in business,in our personal leadership effort or in any other area of life. Life will not magicallly grant us our wishes,we must make the way where there seems to be no way.
Remember the mind of man has never dreamt impossibility,we can achieve everything we work for,you can achieve every noble idea you put effort to. You mind is the key to it.
In your endeavours,you should look to the Rose of your aspiration,vision,dreams,goals and ideal in order not be suffocated by the torns(challenges) of life.
So always remember,life is a bed of Roses but not without torns,however the key to life is not whether there are Roses or torns,the key lies in you….what do you want to see,the Rose or the torn or most importantly,what do you have to offer to life,as a person,brother,sister,father,mother,friend,neighour,colleague or leader.

What is inside will determine what you see and experience for as a man thinks,so he will be.
