Al-Ha'ir Prison witnessed the opening of its doors during the past few days, celebrating the third festival of "time management", in the presence of "Okaz". Life in a way that enhances their productivity, and transforms a number of those with security issues into active and creative elements.

The Presidency of the Saudi State Security inaugurated the third festival of the pavilions of time management programs in the General Investigation Prisons in Riyadh, in Al-Ha’ir Prison, for a period of four days.

“Okaz” monitored the professional work of managing the festival in a presentation and presentation in which the guests excelled, under the direct supervision and sponsorship of the Power Company, which manages and employs the guests in a real investment of their free time, which brings them great benefits, making them a skilled workforce and developing their capabilities by utilizing and managing their time.

An integrated program of offers

The activities of the Time Management Program succeeded in highlighting the talents of the inmates, so the painter, the artist, the author and the creator appeared, so the prison theater turned into an integrated program of performances, paragraphs, theatrical programs, comedies, poems and musical arts, all of which were presented by the inmates of the Time Management Program, while the exhibition halls hosted dozens of Drawings and pictures prepared by the inmates, and in other angles, handicrafts such as rosaries, farming centers, coal stoves, heating, artifacts and aesthetic shapes appeared.

Case follow-up and specialized courses

The opening ceremony included displaying the inmates' drawings of fine art and handicrafts for male and female inmates. It also witnessed the display of films, artistic plays, musical and comedy performances, and poems.

The time management program was distinguished by examining the status of each inmate – each separately – and following up on his academic status and interest in joining specialized courses and programs such as computer and English language.

The time management program made a transformation in the life of one of the inmates while he was outside Saudi Arabia, which was the reason for his quick return to the homeland and enrollment in the program.

With these words, one of the inmates of al-Ha’ir prison spoke, indicating that he went out to the places of conflict abroad and witnessed closely the allegations and lies woven by the slanderers and liars. To lure the youth of the country and make them fuel and firewood for wars that they have no camel or camel in, so despair seized him and he started looking for a way out for what he got himself into.

Inmate Asmaa confirmed that the time management program contributed to developing the abilities and skills of inmates while serving their sentences, and enabled them to acquire skills and knowledge that will contribute to changing their lives.

She indicated that the participation of inmates in the ceremony of the time management program was from all five prisons, through drawing, sewing and handicrafts that were made by the inmates, and the prison administrations provided all the tools we need.

I am serving my sentence for the work I did, and I will be released having become a productive individual who underwent advice and guidance. I also got a profession and a craft after I became a professional in the perfume industry.”

Al-Rouqi added, “Today I am participating in the perfume corner by displaying our perfume products with a special formula that was manufactured inside the prison, with high quality competition and cheap prices, and God willing, when we are released, I will open my own project after I got all the training and knowledge in this field from inside the prison.” .

And about his choice of the profession of making and installing perfumes, he indicated that he watched all the programs that the inmates joined, and it did not include the field of perfumes, indicating that he chose this field to sell it to the inmates, through the exhibitions and the external store of the prison, and now he spent 3 years in The profession may provide him with financial income and self-sufficiency.

The inmate, Al-Rouqi, stated that the prison administration provides what he needs in the field of perfumery, in terms of formulations and packages.
