Just found out my dear friend Tommy Macias passed away a couple nights ago from the virus. We go back a solid 20 years. I met him through my roommate when i first moved to Ontario back in 99. We became fast friends and he had a heart of gold. He helped me get a job hauling sand and aggregate with Chris Robin Trucking. I owed him a 12 pack but we could never link up. He was one of the first to call me when i ended up in the hospital after falling asleep behind the wheel in 2009. We recently talked about me getting back into trucking and visiting each other again now that im back in Socal. I last saw his update saying he tested positive and figured that he will be fine. I knew of his health problems with blood sugar but didnt think twice that the virus would get him. Rest in peace my friend!

Dont take advantage of the unknown, dont expect things to be fine. Take this shit seriously. I had been very diligent about wearing my mask but from time to time loosen up around the crew and friends. Not anymore!
If you know me, now you know someone directly affected by Covid. This shit is real! #wearyourmask
