The wife of the Moroccan international player, Ashraf Hakimi, caused a big surprise after she revealed on social media that their relationship had ended before the alleged rape case against a 24-year-old woman.
Heba Abouk added that she always supports rape victims.
Abouk stated on her official page that she no longer lives with Hakimi, and that they are in the process of divorce proceedings, although their separation occurred before the rape case.
She wrote that the charges brought "shame" and that she "needs time to absorb this shock."
It is noteworthy that the Moroccan star, Paris Saint-Germain, is under investigation by the French authorities after the alleged incident, which the police refer to as having occurred on February 25, at his home in the Boulogne district in the French capital, Paris.
These accusations were denied by his lawyer and he continued to play for Paris Saint-Germain and the Moroccan national team.
Hakimi's lawyer (Fanny Collin) told the French newspaper "Le Parisien" in a statement last month: "The accusations are false. Hakimi is calm and bears justice."
