Matthew Lard shared a post on Facebook expressing his profound sadness and also remembering Wyatt for a great friend he was. The post reads: “Wyatt Hatcher I don’t know what was going on in your life outside of the military. I do know this: Wyatt was a natural-born leader and a great friend. He was there through hard times when people were in need. He always made sure the job got done no matter what it took. I’ll always remember the times we had at Courthouse Bay and the late night and early morning runs we went on while everyone else slept and the late-night horror movies when we bunked together. Seems just like yesterday we were in the barracks cramming our brains with the school. I can say without a doubt and with great confidence that you’re in a good and better place. Let your soul be at peace and your body at rest. You were an amazing human and a loyal friend. May you Rest In Peace brother. Semper Fidelis my friend.”

Wyatt Hatcher’s Obituary will be organized by the family.
