What is enlightrnement
Enlightenment is more of a process than a state of achievment.
How.
Enlightenment first means being open to knowledge and the capacity to use gained knowledge to achieve positive result.
Knowledge here means the openness to learning new things without the interferance of our prejudice,bias and ignorance. Learning is important cos we humans are a product of our learning. We live only by what we know, we are born without the capacity to do anything,even to feed ourself is a a no no. But as we grow we are taught things so as to be able to exist on our own.
Learning goes beyond being taught, learning implies our ability to understand things as they happen around us and our ability to glean valuable lessons from everything we see,hear and experience.
Sadly, some of us lose this ability to learn,some lose it after school,some do when they start working,some do when they start having kids.
Learning is our greatest resource of growth as individuals,in our career,our professional life, and every other endeavour we engage in.
Secondly, our ability to use gained knowledge to achieve positive result is the hallmark of enlightenment. It is the sole responsibility of the leader to find ways to utilize his learning in creating a better life or society.
