William Benton Death, Motorcycle Accident; Authorities have identified the man that died in the motorcycle accident that happened on State Route 29 as 54-year-old William Benton.
According to the police, Benton was operating his 2017 Harley Davidson and riding west on Route 29, while a 2016 GMC Sierra pick-up that was driven by an 81-year-old man was moving east on Route 29. The pick-up was about making a turn into Brook Road when they both clashed.
At first, it seems the pick-up did not permit the motorcycle to traveling on the right way of the road.
Benton sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the pick-up did not suffer any injuries.
The was reportedly said to have happened about 7:48 p.m. Tuesday, night.
The crash remains under as the cause of accident has not been known. Although, it is believed that drug or alcohol is not a factor in the crash.
