Really sad to hear that snooker player and commentator Willie Thorne has died.
Was only talking about him with @fouldsy147 recently on the Cricket Badger Podcast as “the most recognizable sportsman” for a time in England.

Devastating to hear that Willie Thorne has died. I met him numerous times at events when I was playing snooker as a junior and was always a laugh to be around. Excellent player, and will be a big loss to the game. Very sad.
