Robert Dotson, 52, was killed by the police at his home after pointing his gun at them, despite discovering that they had come by mistake to his home address, according to Sky News Arabia.
The officers responded to a domestic violence call, and when they arrived at the scene, they discovered that the address was wrong, but Dotson opened the door and raised his firearm, which called the police to shoot him.
Dotson's wife began shouting, "Please help me, someone shot my husband!" The police department released audio and video recordings of the confrontation. Police Chief Stephen Heapey said in a news release that his officers "recognize the seriousness of this incident" and pledged to release additional records and files in the coming weeks.
