Since the beginning of the Yemeni crisis, which accompanied the chaos of what was called the Arab Spring in 2011, the Kingdom has been sincerely keen to save Yemen from the grave dangers that threaten it. Yemen is on the path of collapse. And when matters worsened with the Houthi coup, the Kingdom responded to the legitimate government's demand to intervene in order to prevent the abduction of all of Yemen, extend their authority over it, and facilitate external interference in its affairs, which poses a threat to the security of the neighborhood and a threat to the stability of the region.

And when the Kingdom formed the military coalition to confront the Houthis, it was at the same time adopting and supporting political solutions and creating the appropriate conditions for them with the participation of all Yemeni components, including the Houthis. With the military confrontation, the Kingdom established a huge program for the reconstruction and development of Yemen in all fields, and tried to overcome all obstacles in order to reach A comprehensive political solution to end the crisis.

This goal was hindered by obstacles not only because of the Houthis, but also because of the differences between the other parties that represent the component of legitimacy, and the imbalance of their priorities, and giving priority to the secondary over the primary or the important before the most important, and for the sake of consensus and reconciliation between them, the Kingdom sponsored at this time last year a comprehensive Yemeni dialogue It ended with the formation of a Yemeni leadership council with a consensual president and members representing the Yemeni political spectrum, to start a new phase towards a new Yemen.

Now the opportunity seems well prepared for peace in Yemen. Regional and international developments provide an opportunity to achieve this goal that the Yemenis are waiting for, and the Kingdom is making greater efforts to facilitate the task and remove obstacles in its path, but the most important factor for its success is the agreement between the Yemeni political components and the agreement to give priority to the supreme interest. For Yemen, abandoning special agendas, and postponing old files until after the stability of the state and the establishment of security and peace. The Yemeni political components are now standing in a sensitive historical position that Yemen will consider for them or against them, and all those who love Yemen hope that it will be calculated for them.
