Journalist and writer Khaled Maqbool released his new book entitled “What You Deserve” on Dar Takween for Publishing and Distribution. He contented himself with writing the phrase “interpret it as you like” in the introduction, as if he was referring to the content of the book, which includes a number of social articles that can be read and interpreted from multiple angles. Therefore, the writer preferred to give the reader the opportunity to roam between those stations that represent part of his life experience without affecting the way he coexists and interacts with the article.
Among the most prominent articles and experiences that Maqbool included in his new book is an article entitled "Our Life is Moving Stages…We Should Give Each Stage What It Deserves." The writer believes that a person should live every stage of his life as it deserves, and not restrict it, shackle it, or impede it with what it cannot bear, and affirms that the child has the right to live his childhood in its full innocence and pleasure. And the stage of youth should be full of energy, activity, optimism and love, until old age deserves what is appropriate for it in terms of rest, relaxation, enjoyment and care that rewards the efforts made by its owner in the course of his life.
The book is located on 87 pages of medium size, and in its last cover contains an expressive sentence that summarizes much of the writer's life and practical experience.
