Today (Monday), the new Kuwaiti government led by Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah took the constitutional oath before the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
In a speech on the occasion of taking the oath, the Crown Prince said that the new government faces many fundamental issues and files that we attach great importance to, calling on the members of the government to cooperate in order to achieve security and eliminate corruption and nepotism.
And he added, “We affirm the continuation of strengthening the role of the State of Kuwait, its status, constants, and its stances towards brotherly and friendly countries and our common issues, so that it remains as the world has entrusted it.” An Amiri decree was issued yesterday (Sunday) to form a new government headed by Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the government has not witnessed a change.
