Lieutenant General Mojib Al-Qahtani was not just an officer in the Ministry of Interior sector, but rather a man of missions, a unique personality, and an inspiring leader. He succeeded in gaining the trust of the leadership, and won the love of everyone who worked with him, and won the admiration of everyone who knew and dealt with him.
The deceased joined the army in 1370 AH, and he was appointed with the rank of soldier, in the city of Al-Ahsa, and he did not have academic qualifications. Believing in the importance of education, he worked on himself and strived to achieve the goals that he set through persevering in studying (houses), while he started working, and he obtained a certificate Efficiency, and the matter was not easy, as he had to pay a sum of money to one of his fellow soldiers in order to take over his place if the time of the guard conflicted with the time of study, and he completed the academic stages in the city of Riyadh.
One of his positions is that he spent years during which he was unable to visit his father due to work and study conditions and the difficulty of moving around at the time, as he lives in the (Jash) center in the Tathleeth governorate of the Asir region, and one day he was surprised by his father’s arrival to his workplace, and his father did not know him because his features changed after the long absence and he was feeling Sad, and he knew at that time the dignity and the value of the parents and their virtue, and after that he was keen not to miss him much, whatever the circumstances.
He rose in ranks and positions, to become a commander of the Border Guard in the Najran region from 1399 AH to 1405 AH, then in the eastern region, and a royal order was issued appointing him as General Director of the Border Guard in 1413 AH, and he retired in 1417 AH, then the order was issued to appoint him as Undersecretary of the Principality of Najran Region at the excellent rank until 1420 AH.
When the news of the death of Lieutenant General Mojib bin Muhammad Al-Qahtani spread, citizens from all regions and provinces of the Kingdom raced to offer condolences, and tweeters wrote many of his exploits, his distinctive qualities and his good morals, and several personalities recounted his humanitarian stances with everyone, especially the needy.
He passed away, may God have mercy on him, on the seventh day of the blessed month of Ramadan, and the country and the leadership mourned him, asking God Almighty for mercy, forgiveness, and freedom from hell.
