The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed what it described as a "treasure of secrets", which was seized by the American forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces. He stated that information had reached the US Army and the Syrian Democratic Forces indicating the existence of a secret hideout for ISIS in the southern Raqqa, in a farm located in the Kasra Faraj area on the outskirts of the city, known as “Al-Baghdadi Farm”, in which the leader of the terrorist organization, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, was staying during his control of the area. .

The center disclosed that a joint force between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the American forces raided the farm during the past few days and revealed the secrets of the cache. Inside the bunker, the joint forces found 3 carefully camouflaged rooms containing 4 barrels filled with large quantities of gold and money estimated at one million US dollars.

According to the Syrian Center, the second part of the cache contained weapons and money that the organization used to carry out its suicide operations and attacks within the areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces. He pointed out that the money and weapons were transferred to one of the joint warehouses between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the American forces.

The seizure of this cache comes in light of the pursuit of ISIS cells, after they escalated their operations in the areas of influence of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

And Al-Baghdadi, who one day appointed himself at the head of an alleged caliphate that quickly collapsed, is called in his birth certificate as Ibrahim Awad Al-Samarrai, and he was born in 1971 in the Al-Tobji area in the city of Samarra, north of Baghdad.

In 2003, when the United States invaded Iraq, al-Baghdadi joined the Salafist rebellion movement, and fell into the hands of the Americans before he was released, on the suspicion that he was nothing but an instigator of the protest.

Until July 4, 2014, al-Baghdadi did not attract the world's attention, until he appeared, bearded and clad in a black cloak, and ascended the pulpit of the al-Nuri Mosque in the northern city of Mosul, announcing the establishment of his alleged "caliphate".

And in 2016, when ISIS reached the peak of its power, it took control of a large area stretching from northern Syria to the outskirts of Baghdad.

The cells of the extremist organization carried out dozens of attacks that left civilians and security forces dead and injured, from Syria and Iraq, to Europe, Africa and other countries around the world.

However, the organization was defeated by a comprehensive military operation by the International Coalition and the Syrian Democratic Forces in 2017.
